Les voies ferr\u00e9es qui franchissent les zones montagneuses se trouvent dans des zones riveraines des pentes artificielles. L\u2019augmentation des pr\u00e9cipitations intenses et soudaines font accro\u00eetre la probabilit\u00e9 de rupture de telles pentes et, partant, des coul\u00e9es rapides de boue et d\u00e9bris qui comportent des situations de risque \u00e9lev\u00e9 pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de marche des trains. Le syst\u00e8me EW-LMS a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour d\u00e9tecter les \u00e9boulements possibles et alerter en temps utile de telle sorte que la circulation des trains soit suspendue le cas \u00e9ch\u00e9ant.
\nLe syst\u00e8me EW-LMS<\/strong> peut surveiller en temps r\u00e9el m\u00eame des zones vastes \u00e0 travers d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de inclinom\u00e8tres. Ces derniers permettent la rotation des pics \u00e0 glace plant\u00e9s dans le sol et la d\u00e9finition de la coul\u00e9e en cours. En outre l\u2019utilisation combin\u00e9e de d\u00e9tecteurs d\u2019humidit\u00e9 par chaque point du r\u00e9seau permet reconna\u00eetre les situations de risque et par cons\u00e9quent alerter.<\/p>\n

Le syst\u00e8me fournit \u00e0 distance soit un cadre synoptique de la situation soit une \u00e9valuation synth\u00e9tique globale de la zone surveill\u00e9e. Le syst\u00e8me, enti\u00e8rement Wireless et aliment\u00e9 par batteries, est particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9conomique en termes d\u2019installation et d\u2019entretien ordinaire.<\/p>\n
